Storme Funeral Home Records (1914 – 1920)
1914-1920 records from the Albert G. Storme Funeral Home in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois.
The death records are transcribed from the original handwritten records. After Mr. Storme’s death in 1959 the business became the Van Natta Funeral Home, owned and operated first by George Van Natta and now by his son, Richard. George was a nephew of Albert Storme. Richard Van Natta made the material available.
The records have been transcribed with genealogy searches in mind. All names that are mentioned in any way are included. For instance, if payment was made by individuals other than ones mentioned in the standard information, those names are listed in the notes. United Mine Workers of America Local Union numbers are given where available, even if they were written in the margin, as was often the case. Any loose material filed in the books is listed.
